Apr. 10, 2019—National Football League executive and Vanderbilt Board of Trust secretary Adolpho A. Birch III will visit campus for a suite of engaging lectures and activities April 23-24. The events are part of the Chancellor’s Lecture Series.
Jan. 25, 2019—Chris Guthrie, the John Wade-Kent Syverud Professor of Law, has been reappointed to a five-year term as dean of the Vanderbilt Law School.
Jan. 23, 2019—A new $12.75 million gift to Vanderbilt Law School from alumnus and former Vanderbilt Board of Trust chairman Mark Dalton and his family will provide support for the law school's Law and Business Program, which prepares students to enter legal practice with a solid understanding of business law, corporate management, accounting and finance.
Dec. 3, 2018—The commitment from alumni Elizabeth Sauereisen Allen, BS’83, and Vanderbilt Board of Trust member Greg Allen, BA’84, builds on their legacy of generosity toward the university and continues their support for faculty and program leadership, as well as current and future student scholars.
