The event will bring more than 35 community partners, organizations and agencies with a variety of missions to Vanderbilt to interact with students who want to get involved in the Nashville community. Geo-Jobe, on behalf of the Vanderbilt University Facilities department, will fly a fixed-wing drone over campus on Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Facilities department schedules a drone flyover twice a year to capture aerial footage and images of the tree canopy around campus. The Wallace Foundation recently awarded a four-year, $1.42 million grant to Vanderbilt Peabody College of education and human development and Mathematica for a new study to expand knowledge about assistant principals and provide new insights on how the role can help diversify the principal profession and advance educational equity.  Read More
