Jan. 20, 2021—Vanderbilt’s University Staff Advisory Council is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to raise $2,500 and provide 10,000 meals before the end of February.

Vanderbilt University to mark MLK Day as staff holiday starting in 2021
Oct. 23, 2020—Starting in 2021, Vanderbilt University will recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a paid staff holiday. The move aligns with efforts to strengthen equity, diversity and inclusion on campus.
First Fall Staff Assembly to be held virtually on Oct. 22

Chancellor Zeppos honored by university staff
Jul. 19, 2019—The University Staff Advisory Council passed a resolution at its July 9 meeting commending Nicholas S. Zeppos “for his distinguished service to Vanderbilt University” as its eighth chancellor.
USAC begins new term
Jul. 19, 2019—At its July meeting, outgoing USAC President, Jenny Mandeville, passed the torch to Jeff Loudin who welcomed new and returning representatives and introduced the Officers and Executive Committee Chairs for the 2019-20 term.
Scott receives Karen Dolan Spirit Award, USAC recognizes service at year-end meeting
Jun. 18, 2019—Vanderbilt’s University Staff Advisory Council concluded its year by recognizing council members for their service during 2018-19. Carjamin Scott, associate director of admissions operations at the Owen Graduate School of Management, was honored with the Karen Dolan Spirit Award, which recognizes a USAC representative for stewardship, devotion and service to the council.
