The University Staff Advisory Council invites the Vanderbilt community to participate in Jingle in July, a fundraiser for the Faculty and Staff Hardship Fund. The hardship fund provides assistance to qualifying Vanderbilt faculty and staff who are experiencing a temporary hardship due to a significant life event.
The hardship fund has supported numerous faculty and staff over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is ongoing. The fund is in need of replenishment to help meet the challenges faced by faculty and staff in the coming year.
As part of the Jingle in July challenge, Vanderbilt employees are asked to donate $1 for every year of their service at Vanderbilt. Donations of any size are welcome.
How to donate
- Donate via PayPal to the handle @USACVU.
- Make checks payable to “VU Hardship Fund” and mail or deliver to:

- Connect your Kroger card to the Vanderbilt Employee Assistance Program through the Kroger Community Rewards Program.
Jingle in July ends July 31; donations to the Faculty and Staff Hardship Fund may be made year-round.
