The new all-electric shuttle fleet will provide eco-friendly vehicles for VandyRide, a nighttime shuttle service for Vanderbilt students, by the start of the fall 2023 semester. In addition to being environmentally friendly, the new shuttles are also quieter and smoother than traditional buses, providing a more comfortable ride for passengers. Parking spaces in front of the Peabody Administration Building will be closed off 6 a.m.–2 p.m. for six  Mondays, beginning May 22, for a crane that will assist crews in roof work. Vanderbilt University Printing Services recently earned a 2023 In-Print Award, one of the highest honors in the printing community. This year, the Printing Services team earned a Silver Award for the 2023 edition of LiveIt Nashville, a publication cosponsored by the Division of Government and Community Relations and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. Incoming traffic from 21st Avenue onto Medical Center Drive will be affected Saturday, May 20, 6 a.m.–5 p.m. by a crane installation. Medical Center Drive will be closed in both directions, and only emergency vehicles will be allowed access for the duration of the project.
