Access to the garage at Village at Vanderbilt will be limited on Saturday, May 20, from 6:30 a.m. to noon while roof work is being done at the property. There will be no through traffic from the 21st Avenue entrance to the 18th Avenue exit.
The South Drive will be closed while the crane and equipment are being staged. Vehicles will be able to use the roundabout in front of Wyatt to turn around, if needed. The Wyatt Center and residential garage area will still be accessible.
Several parking spots on the upper parking deck of the Village Garage will be closed during the work, due to their proximity to the crane.
Flaggers and proper signs will be in place to help people navigate the work zone safely. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to avoid the area and find an alternative access point into the Village at Vanderbilt.
If postponed due to weather, the work will shift to Saturday, June 3.
