Sep. 18, 2019—An interdisciplinary group of Vanderbilt researchers is launching a pilot study regarding the effect of live music on patients, families and staff in the VUMC adult intensive care unit and is inviting musical members of the VU community to help. Vanderbilt University undergraduates are encouraged to participate and investigate using the experience to develop their Immersion projects.
Aug. 8, 2019—Blair Academy at Vanderbilt offers seven weekly Kindermusik classes for fall 2019. Taught by Maestro teacher Amy Alley, the tiered program of classes for infants, toddlers, young children and their caregivers teaches age appropriate movement, language, singing and language skills in a joyful and caring way.
