Oct. 19, 2018—Benefits Open Enrollment is underway now until Oct. 31. This year, all eligible employees must elect a health plan or they will default to the new Choice Consumer-Driven Health Plan.
Oct. 12, 2018—Vanderbilt offers two distinct types of tax-advantaged plans to help pay for health care costs on a pre-tax basis: the new Health Savings Account (HSA) for employees electing the Choice CDHP and the health care Flexible Spending Account (HC-FSA) for employees electing the Select PPO or waiving coverage.
Sep. 26, 2018—For calendar year 2019, Vanderbilt will have two health plan offerings: the Select PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) and the Choice CDHP (Consumer-Driven Health Plan). Eligible employees must elect a health plan.

May. 4, 2018—May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Vanderbilt's Work/Life Connections–Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has planned an open house for university faculty and staff May 21.
Jan. 26, 2018—The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center (Rec) is offering a $10 discount off massages to members of the Vanderbilt community through Feb. 28.
