Thirteen outstanding faculty members from across the university have been selected for the 2022 cohort of Chancellor Faculty Fellows. This group is composed of highly accomplished, recently tenured faculty from a wide variety of disciplines and areas of expertise.

Three Vanderbilt biomedical researchers named 2022 Pew Scholars
 
Mariana Byndloss, assistant professor of pathology, microbiology and immunology, and William Wan, assistant professor of biochemistry, have been named 2022 Pew Scholars in the Biomedical Sciences. The Pew Charitable Trusts and the Alexander and Margaret Stewart Trust have selected Alexander Bick, assistant professor of genetic medicine, to join the 2022 class of Pew-Stewart Scholars for Cancer Research.

Alfred Degrafinreid II, associate vice chancellor in Vanderbilt’s Division of Government and Community Relations, has been named president and chief executive officer of Leadership Tennessee, a statewide cross-sector community leadership program. Degrafinreid will assume the role on July 1.
