A real-time discussion on the role of education in rebuilding Ukraine and the impact of its war with Russia on the region and around the world is scheduled for Thursday, June 23, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. CT.
Anna Novosad, Ukraine’s former minister of education and an alumna of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program at Vanderbilt, will share her first-hand experience of the war and the work she is doing to rebuild Ukraine’s education system.
The online conversation will be hosted by Camilla Benbow, Patricia and Rodes Hart Dean of Peabody College of education and human development; Xiu Cravens, associate dean for international students and affairs and associate professor of the practice of educational policy; and Chris Vanags, director of research initiatives at Peabody College.
