Nov. 30, 2018—Faculty who are interested in serving in residential or programmatic roles within the university’s residential college system are invited to an open house Dec. 4 at the dean’s residence on The Ingram Commons.
Nov. 30, 2018—Many parking lots within the West End Neighborhood will close permanently over winter break, including fraternity and sorority lots, as the area transforms to become more accessible and pedestrian-centric.
Nov. 13, 2018—Ongoing construction and utility work in the West End Neighborhood will close Vanderbilt Place at the 24th Avenue South intersection. The closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, Nov. 19.

Nov. 14, 2017—The FutureVU team turned a portion of Kensington Place into a park for Vanderbilt community members to enjoy last week in advance of beautification efforts slated to begin in mid-December.
Nov. 10, 2017—Members of the Vanderbilt community who park near the West End neighborhood will likely see changes beginning Dec. 18 due to construction and utility work.
Nov. 3, 2017—Vanderbilt’s West End neighborhood will be transformed Nov. 6–12 with the creation of a pop-up park on Kensington Place. The park will feature landscaping, open space and a variety of activities.
Sep. 28, 2017—Construction and utilities work is planned to begin in December to bury overhead utilities in preparation for new residential colleges and a beautification effort along the West End corridor of Vanderbilt’s campus.
