Progress is underway on the West End Tower, currently standing tall with 11 floors. To complete the rest of the structural work for the planned 20-story tower, the crane needs an extension, which will occur Nov. 8-10.
Construction hours will be changing only for the weekend, with work beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9. If the work is not completed on Saturday, work on the crane will begin again at 7 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10. The work on the crane is expected to be quiet.
All work on the east side of the crane, including the demolition of Carmichael Tower 4, will be put on hold starting Friday afternoon, Nov. 8, until the end of the work day on Saturday.
For non-emergency issues regarding construction, please use the construction feedback form, the hotline email Constr_alerts@Vanderbilt.edu, or call (615) 343-9675.
