‘An Evening of Art and Hip-Hop’ at NMAAM Feb. 2
Vanderbilt’s Student Center for Social Justice and Identity, Bishop Johnson Black Cultural Center, Peabody College and Blair School of Music will host “Afro-ARTivism: An Evening of Art and Hip-Hop” on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the National Museum of African American Music’s Feature Gallery. Vanderbilt announces new program in Asian American and Asian diaspora studies
The College of Arts and Science has launched a new undergraduate program in Asian American and Asian diaspora studies, including both a major and a minor, for spring 2023. The new program, housed in the Department of Asian Studies, aims to provide students with a more comprehensive knowledge of Asian diaspora and perspectives, Asian and U.S. history, and race relations in the United States.
