Earlier this summer, all VU Microsoft Office 365 login credentials were changed from users’ VUnetID@vanderbilt.edu to users’ primary email addresses (usually firstname.lastname@vanderbilt.edu). Last week, VUIT successfully aligned 1,603 Skype account logins from users’ secondary email addresses to their primary email addresses. Read More

On Thursday, July 18, between 4 and 6:30 a.m., VUIT will replace some network equipment in the Hill and Bryan data centers. During this replacement, VU will experience a brief outage of internet service. Read More

VUIT’s spam filter, VUmailguard, protects against unwanted emails by using the spam protection in Microsoft Office 365. A notification email is sent if there is a quarantined message requiring review. Users can either release the message from quarantine or ignore it. Read More
