Amy Johnson has been named assistant provost for immersion and experiential learning at Vanderbilt University and will begin her new role on July 15. The first annual spring semester Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 22, from 2 to 5 p.m. With the inception of Immersion Vanderbilt, a spring version of the fair provides students with an additional opportunity to showcase their projects. Read More

A new Nanomaker Immersion course coming to Vanderbilt aims to train the next generation of nanotechnology entrepreneurs in a facility rarely utilized by undergraduates. Vanderbilt professor Alice D. Leach will teach nanotech development and commercialization techniques to the next generation of nanotechnology entrepreneurs beginning in fall 2022. Read More
