André Christie-Mizell named vice provost for graduate education and dean of Vanderbilt’s Graduate School
Dec. 9, 2020—Esteemed sociologist and child and adolescent psychologist C. André Christie-Mizell has been named vice provost for graduate education and dean of the Graduate School at Vanderbilt University, effective Jan. 1, 2021, pending Board of Trust approval.

Aug. 26, 2020—Vanderbilt has named Bunmi Olatunji, Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Professor of Psychology, as interim dean of the Graduate School. Olatunji currently serves as associate dean of academic affairs for the Graduate School and takes over as Dean Mark T. Wallace returns to the faculty starting Sept. 1.

Olatunji appointed associate dean of academic affairs at Graduate School
Oct. 18, 2019—Bunmi Olatunji, professor of psychology and associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, has been appointed dean of academic affairs at the Graduate School, effective Jan. 1, 2020. He succeeds Richard Hoover, who is stepping down after 18 years in the role and will retire from Vanderbilt on Dec. 31.
