Mar. 19, 2019—The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center’s Life Phase Series will present “The Good, the Fad and the Ugly” on Tuesday, March 26, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Rec Center.
Mar. 15, 2019—At this Vandy Cooks, Marissa Wertheimer, a registered dietitian and Health Plus health educator, will share traditional recipes served at the Jewish Passover Seder and create dishes that symbolize the Jewish people’s freedom from slavery and flight from Egypt.
Feb. 15, 2019—The talk is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 14, in Light Hall, Room 428. The presenters will share insight and information on the home-buying process, including identifying your home needs, selecting a realtor, financing, contracts, inspections, appraisals, and how to successfully close on your home.
Feb. 14, 2019—The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center and Health Plus present “The Pastabilities are Endless” on Wednesday, March 13. This installment of Vandy Cooks will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center teaching kitchen.
Jan. 24, 2019—Laura Barker, a horticultural specialist with Vanderbilt Plant Operations’ Grounds Maintenance team, will discuss raised-bed gardening from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center teaching kitchen.
Jan. 23, 2019—Join Tammy Algood, current recipe developer for "The Tennessee Magazine," at the February installment of Vandy Cooks from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center teaching kitchen.
Oct. 18, 2018—Chelsea Hamilton, outreach coordinator for the Sustainability and Environmental Management Office, will present “Greening Your Home and Personal Life” from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in Medical Center North, Room C2209.
