Mar. 18, 2019—Vanderbilt University Information Technology continues to increase the protection of VU systems through enhanced cybersecurity mechanisms. As the next step in its VerifyU initiative, multi-factor authentication will be required to access the VU virtual private network application, Pulse Secure, beginning March 18.

May. 15, 2018—As Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center continue to restructure into distinct entities, many shared technical systems must be reconfigured. Beginning June 25, Vanderbilt University will move to a new identity management tool called VU Identity.
May. 9, 2018—Beginning in May, Vanderbilt IT will start moving all current university SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online. Among its many features, SharePoint Online makes the process of creating a SharePoint site easier by leveraging templates.
