Oct. 17, 2018—The K.C. Potter Center, home of the Office of LGBTQI Life, will mark its 10th anniversary Oct. 24 with a celebration open to the entire Vanderbilt community.
Oct. 1, 2018—The Office of LGBTQI Life will celebrate LGBTQI History Month throughout October with several programs, trainings and events aimed at educating and engaging students, faculty and staff across campus.
Oct. 25, 2017—The "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and "30 Rock" star will speak at Langford Auditorium in a lecture sponsored by the Office of LGBTQI Life.
Sep. 29, 2017—Filmmaker Raoul Peck, whose works include the Oscar-nominated 'I Am Not Your Negro,' will speak on campus Oct. 18, and two of his films will be screened at Sarratt Cinema Oct. 4 and 16.
Sep. 27, 2017—Emmy-nominated actor Tituss Burgess, "I Am Not Your Negro" filmmaker Raoul Peck, and "RuPaul’s Drag Race" star Shea Couleé highlight the October schedule for LGBTQI+ History Month at Vanderbilt University.
Jun. 16, 2017—A cookout is planned June 29 by the Office of LGBTQI Life to explore interest in a Vanderbilt employee resource group.
Jun. 14, 2017—Show your pride and walk with Vanderbilt University at the 2017 Nashville Pride Equality Walk on June 24. Vanderbilt University is a sponsor of this year’s Nashville Pride Festival, along with Bridgestone, Nissan, Curb Records and many others.
Mar. 21, 2017—The Lavender Celebration, an annual celebration of the achievements and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and allied graduating students as well as current student leaders, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 19.
Sep. 30, 2016—October is LGBTQI+ History Month, and Vanderbilt's Office of LGBTQI Life has planned a full month of events.
