Nov. 7, 2019—Vanderbilt marked LGBTQI History Month in October with a series of events honoring lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex narratives and history, and by engaging community members in meaningful reflection, programming and education.
Oct. 24, 2019—Join the Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Life at Vanderbilt in closing out LGBTQI History Month with an event at the K.C. Potter Center on Oct. 31.
Aug. 29, 2019—Vanderbilt’s sixth annual Diverse ‘Dores Day will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Sarratt Student Center Promenade.
Aug. 14, 2019—Four Vanderbilt identity-based centers and offices are now under the umbrella of the Office for Inclusive Excellence. The move is designed to elevate their mission and expand their impact.
Jul. 1, 2019—The P.R.I.D.E. (Pursuing Respect, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity) program aims to create a visible network of support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex individuals and their allies by providing an avenue through which any member of the Vanderbilt community can show their support.
May. 30, 2019—Vanderbilt’s Office of LGBTQI Life invites the Vanderbilt community to walk in the 2019 Nashville Pride Parade on Saturday, June 22, beginning at 10 a.m. at Broadway and 8th Avenue in downtown Nashville. The first 25 people to join the group will receive a Vanderbilt PRIDE t-shirt.
Mar. 27, 2019—The Lavender Celebration, an evening of celebration and recognition of the achievements and contributions of LGBTQI and allied graduating students and student leaders at Vanderbilt, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, at the Student Life Center.
Mar. 15, 2019—The Office of LGBTQI Life invites the Vanderbilt community to the last Pursuing Respect, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity training of the spring semester on March 27.
Feb. 20, 2019—Vanderbilt's Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Life will host the 2019 OUT in Front conference Feb. 23. The keynote speaker is award-winning author, musician and dancer Brontez Purnell.
