Adaptive teaching town hall video available to view; new faculty question webpage launched
Jun. 26, 2020—More than 300 faculty members participated in a virtual town hall Wednesday on adaptive teaching and learning. Since all questions were unable to be answered during the June 15 and June 24 faculty town halls, a new webpage that features answers to questions submitted during both has launched on the Return to Campus website.
Wednesday’s virtual town hall for faculty to focus on adaptive teaching
Jun. 23, 2020—A second virtual town hall focusing on adaptive teaching for the fall semester will be hosted for faculty on June 24 at 11 a.m. The town hall will include a presentation from Center for Teaching Director Derek Bruff on how to teach in a hybrid or remote course this fall, followed by a discussion of questions from faculty regarding teaching.
Vanderbilt Phase 2 of Return to Campus Plan remains in place as Nashville begins Phase 3
Jun. 22, 2020—While Nashville will enter the third phase of its Roadmap for Reopening beginning Monday, June 22, Vanderbilt University will continue to follow its own Return to Campus Plan, which is currently in Vanderbilt Phase 2.

Jun. 5, 2020—Vanderbilt University will begin transitioning to Phase 2 of its Return to Campus Plan on Monday, June 8. The major change that will occur during Vanderbilt's Phase 2 includes on-campus research ramp up to no more than 50 percent capacity. Bordeau appointed president of Pulse: International Health and Safety Professionals in Higher Education
May. 20, 2020—Andrea Bordeau, global safety and security manager for Vanderbilt University, has been appointed the inaugural president of Pulse: International Health and Safety Professionals in Higher Education.
