Churchwell looking forward to transition, new challenges
Dr. André Churchwell has led VUMC’s diversity and inclusion efforts for the past 12 years and in 2020 was named Vanderbilt University’s vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion and chief diversity officer. Going forward, he will focus solely on his university role while continuing to see patients in his cardiology practice at Vanderbilt Heart. It’s a transition he says he's looking forward to.
