Acorn School teachers, chemistry department administrator honored with Chancellor’s Heart and Soul awards
Nov. 15, 2019—Kennadria Lloyd and Crystal Macias, two teachers at The Acorn School, and Magdalena Paszewska, administrative officer in the Department of Chemistry, are the latest recipients of the Chancellor’s Heart and Soul Staff Appreciation Award.
Nov. 5, 2019—Kathleen Seabolt, executive director of the Vanderbilt Child and Family Center, will discuss “Books and Games for Kids” at the next meeting of the Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center’s Parenting Group on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Nov. 5, 2019—The Caregiver Support Group meets on the second Wednesday of every month and offers a safe place to discuss the stresses, challenges and rewards of providing care for a loved one.
Nov. 4, 2019—Vanderbilt University has renamed its early childhood care and education center The Acorn School to better reflect the program’s focus on innovative care and learning. In addition, the new name identifies The Acorn School as the early childhood care and education program within the multi-resource Vanderbilt Child and Family Center, a department of Vanderbilt’s Division of Administration.
