The Vanderbilt Child and Family Center will host “Spill the Tea,” a tea party to honor breastfeeding caregivers, on Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Living Room of the Godchaux Nursing Annex.
This event is for all parents/guardians of children, advocates in support of breastfeeding, expectant mothers, and university faculty, staff and students. To celebrate, refreshments and special party favors will be provided.
Additionally, two special guests will share information related to breastfeeding:
- Carol Huber, Vanderbilt NICU lactation consultant, will share the many benefits of breastfeeding.
- Tanya Brown, leave administrator for Human Resources, will share benefits and FMLA information.
