Faculty Head of Sutherland House Chalene Helmuth has received the 2021–22 K.C. Potter Outstanding Service to Students Award, given by the Office of the Dean of Students to a faculty member who provides outstanding service consistently to individual students or student groups through personal advising, development of programs, or improvements to university systems and policies that affect students. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is pleased to announce the three awardees for the February 2022 cycle of the Scaling Success Grant, which is the first cycle of this internal funding opportunity. The awardees are Ann Kaiser, Susan W. Gray Professor of Education and Human Development, Steven Wernke, associate professor of anthropology, with Co-PI Yuankai Huo, assistant professor of computer science and computer engineering, and Karl Zelik, associate professor of mechanical engineering.
