Aug. 13, 2020—The Vanderbilt University Board of Trust has named the members of an ad hoc committee that will partner with university leadership to evaluate and recommend policies and initiatives around equity, diversity and inclusion.
Oct. 28, 2019—Vanderbilt University’s Posse Scholars program celebrated its 30th anniversary at an Oct. 18 gathering with more than 100 students, faculty, staff, alumni and Board of Trust members in attendance. Vanderbilt was the first higher education institution to partner with the Posse Scholars in 1989.
Sep. 6, 2019—More than 50 people attended the Aug. 30 event, which included fellowship, celebratory desserts and remarks given by several Posse scholars and mentors on their experiences as part of the program.
Aug. 16, 2019—The Posse Scholars program will recognize its 30th anniversary with a campus celebration on Friday, Aug. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sarratt Student Center Promenade. The entire Vanderbilt community is invited to join in the event.
