Aug. 13, 2019—Vanderbilt University will continue offering fully benefits-eligible employees two health care plan options in 2020: the Preferred Provider Plan and the Consumer Driven Health Plan. All fully benefits-eligible faculty and staff will be required to make an active plan selection during October's Open Enrollment for 2020 coverage.

VLE is designed to develop key leadership skills and competencies for staff who are managers or operational leaders demonstrating high potential, and whose leadership position is between front-line supervisor and director.

Jun. 7, 2019—The new tool, an automated reference-checking resource, will allow the university to efficiently conduct an applicant’s reference check in as little as two business days, dropping up to 10 days off the average time spent collecting reference responses.
May. 29, 2019—Thousands of Vanderbilt University employees attended the annual Employee Appreciation Picnic: At the County Fair. Faculty and staff members enjoyed free food and activities designed to express thanks for the integral role they play in the university’s purpose and mission.
May. 28, 2019—Employee Appreciation is partnering with the Division of Government and Community Relations to host a free event at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory for university employees and their families. Scheduled during the Summer Solstice on Friday, June 21, from noon to 4 p.m., the event will feature activities focused on science, technology, engineering, math and astronomy.
