Vanderbilt Board of Trust elects three new members
At its regular spring meeting earlier this month, the Vanderbilt University Board of Trust elected three new trustees, reelected three trustees to second terms, and thanked several outgoing trustees for their service. The board welcomed new trustees David Bronson Ingram, MBA’89, and CJ (Cynthia) Warner, BE’80, who will serve five-year terms beginning July 1. Launch of McGee Applied Research Center for Narrative Studies celebrated at campus gathering
Vanderbilt University officially launched the McGee Applied Research Center for Narrative Studies at a campus event on Feb. 7. Board of Trust members, university leaders, alumni and invited guests gathered at Rothschild College to celebrate the new interdisciplinary center, which will promote media literacy by providing resources to evaluate the objectivity of news coverage, digital media and other narratives. The Vanderbilt University Board of Trust elected five new members on April 20 during its annual spring meeting. Lamar Alexander, BA’62; John Arnold, BA’96; Nina Kohler; Shaiza Rizavi, BS’91; and Jon Winkelried will serve five-year terms beginning July 1.
