Vanderbilt to host NCAA Regional following SEC Tournament championship win
The Commodores have been tabbed the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Division I Tournament and will welcome Indiana State, McNeese and Ohio State to Hawkins Field for the NCAA Nashville Regional beginning Friday. Baseball advances in SEC Tournament
Top-seed Vanderbilt stifled Mississippi State with runners on base and made the most of its three hits, advancing to the SEC Tournament semifinals while blanking the No. 2-seed Bulldogs 1-0 on Thursday night in Hoover, Alabama. Quah named winner of SEC’s McWhorter Award
Vanderbilt bowling senior Kristin Quah has been named the recipient of the H. Boyd McWhorter Award, presented annually to the outstanding female student-athlete in the Southeastern Conference. New England selects Vanderbilt’s Williams, San Francisco picks Skule in NFL draft
The New England Patriots selected Vanderbilt defensive back Joejuan Williams with the 45th overall pick of the NFL draft. Williams was taken in the second round. Quah named a Knight-Hennessy Scholar
Vanderbilt senior Kris Quah has been named to the second global cohort of Knight-Hennessy Scholars. The program awards full funding for postgraduate study at Stanford University to up to 100 graduate students each year in order to develop a community of future global leaders capable of solving the world’s most complex problems.
