Vanderbilt Campus Dining Sous Chef Brian Hancock prepared blackened mahi mahi tacos and grilled zucchini hummus during his Vandy Cooks demonstration April 17. The event was held at the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center’s demonstration kitchen.

Those in attendance not only sampled the delicious food but also got tips on selecting fresh fish and the best knives to use for various culinary practices.

Vandy Cooks demonstrations are offered monthly to celebrate healthy eating at Vanderbilt. Vandy Cooks is sponsored by the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center and Health Plus. The demonstration kitchen is located on the first floor of the VRWC.
