Vanderbilt University Police Department has received a report from the Metro Nashville Police Department of a sexual assault of a non-affiliated female victim that occurred on May 20, 2021, at approximately 9 p.m. Read More

Vanderbilt University Police Department received a report of possible gun shots at the Holiday Inn on West End Avenue at approximately 1:34 p.m. on Monday, May 10. VUPD personnel arrived at 1:36 p.m. along with Metro Police and Metro Fire Department. On arrival, there was no immediate indication of any crime having occurred, nor any victim. However, VUPD continues to investigate. Read More

On Tuesday, March 30, VUPD was made aware that earlier in the day, Belmont University’s Office of Campus Security received a report from a Belmont student walking in the Edgehill Village area who experienced an attempted kidnapping. Read More

On March 30, 2021, VUPD received a report from a Campus Security Authority that a female student was sexually assaulted by a male student during the evening hours of Saturday, March 27, 2021, in a residence hall. Read More

On March 27, 2021, VUPD received a report from a Campus Security Authority that a female student was sexually assaulted by a male acquaintance in a residence hall during the evening. Read More

On Oct. 30, 2020, a male undergraduate student reported to a Campus Security Authority that he had been sexually assaulted by another male student in a residence hall on campus. Read More

On Jan. 16, VUPD received a report from a Campus Security Authority that a female student was sexually assaulted by a male student in a residential housing facility on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020. Read More

On Nov. 21, VUPD received a report from a Campus Security Authority that a female student was sexually assaulted by a male student in a residential housing facility on Nov. 15, 2019. Read More

On Tuesday, Oct. 22, VUPD received a report from a Campus Security Authority that a female student was sexually assaulted by a male student in a residential housing facility during the weekend of Oct. 13, 2019. Read More

On Sunday, Sept. 1, VUPD received a report from a Campus Security Authority that a female student was sexually assaulted by a male student in a residential housing facility during the evening of Aug. 31 or the early morning hours of Sept. 1, 2019. Read More

On Wednesday, June 12, at 8:32 p.m., VUPS was notified of an attempted robbery that occurred outside the 25th Avenue Garage near 24th Avenue. Read More

On Wednesday, May 15, at 3:06 a.m., VUPS was notified of an armed robbery that occurred at the Mapco on 21st Avenue South near Children’s Way. Read More
