Jan. 29, 2020—Vanderbilt University officials are actively monitoring the outbreak of the respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, China. At this time, there are no reports of coronavirus cases on the Vanderbilt campus, and there are no confirmed cases in Tennessee.
Jul. 19, 2019—Vanderbilt’s Occupational Health Clinic, including the OHC Faculty/Staff Express Care, now offers online scheduling for same-day and next-day sick visit appointments.
Sep. 23, 2018—Did you know that researchers who work with animals run the risk of developing allergies to them? Occupational Health conducts screenings to identify people who are starting to develop allergies to their animals and can intervene to protect the worker from overexposure and prevent asthma.

Dec. 20, 2017—Health and Wellness services—the Occupational Health Clinic, Work/Life Connections–EAP and Health Plus—will be open during regular business hours over the next two weeks, except for closures during observed holidays on Dec. 22, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Oct. 6, 2016—Flulapalooza 6 will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11, and will offer staff, students and volunteers free flu shots. The event will take place in a large tent erected between Light Hall and Veteran’s Administration (VA) Hospital from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
