Football team unveils vintage-logo helmet; shop similar styles from College Vault collection
During the Oct. 3 home football opener against LSU, the Commodore football team will wear special helmets featuring a vintage Vandy logo first worn during the 1979-82 seasons. Senior undergraduate students are being given first priority to attend the Oct. 3 game, followed by juniors, sophomores and first-year students, until the limited number of tickets available has been distributed. "SEC Nation," the SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, will kick off week 1 of the 2019 football season from The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons this Saturday, when Vanderbilt plays host to Georgia. New England selects Vanderbilt’s Williams, San Francisco picks Skule in NFL draft
The New England Patriots selected Vanderbilt defensive back Joejuan Williams with the 45th overall pick of the NFL draft. Williams was taken in the second round.
