Waste Management has teamed up with FutureVU Sustainability to challenge Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff to show how they are being sustainable on campus.
Recycling, composting, using reusable water bottles, taking alternative transportation and using energy-efficient products are all examples of the many ways you can be sustainable on campus.
Show is by submitting a video (15–30 seconds) by Oct. 4 that demonstrates what you are doing to make Vanderbilt more sustainable.
The top two videos will be selected to compete in an on-field throwing competition at the Vanderbilt vs. Missouri Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 19. The top two videos also will receive a catered meal for 10 friends before the game.
In addition, the winner of the competition will win a special prize from Waste Management and Vanderbilt Football.
