Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos and other administrators joined first-year and transfer students and student VUceptors as they stormed the field ahead of the Commodores’ season opener against Middle Tennessee State University Sept. 1 at Vanderbilt Stadium.
The annual tradition is known as Anchor Dash.
The Commodore football team, led by Head Coach Derek Mason, would go on to a 35-7 victory over MTSU.
