Chancellor Search Committee appointed to identify Vanderbilt University’s next leader
Apr. 12, 2019—Vanderbilt University Board of Trust Chairman Bruce R. Evans has appointed a Chancellor Search Committee for Vanderbilt University’s ninth chancellor. The committee comprises current and emerita members of the Board of Trust and will lead efforts to search for and select a candidate for recommendation to the full Board of Trust.
Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos to step down Aug. 15
Apr. 2, 2019—Vanderbilt University Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos announced today that he will step down as the university’s eighth chancellor on Aug. 15 after more than a decade in the role. Zeppos plans to take a yearlong sabbatical before returning to the faculty as professor of law.
