Vandy Cooks: ‘From the Training Table to creating successful spring celebrations’

The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center and Health Plus present Vanderbilt Campus Dining sous chef Brian Hancock for a Vandy Cooks event from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, April 17. The event will take place in the VRWC demonstration kitchen.

Hancock oversees the Department of Athletics’ Training Table, which feeds hundreds of Vanderbilt student-athletes each day. On April 17, he will prepare creative, healthy dishes to share with friends and family at all of your upcoming spring celebrations. Participants will have the opportunity to sample the dishes and pick up free recipes.

Vandy Cooks demonstrations are offered monthly to celebrate healthy eating at Vanderbilt. The VRWC demonstration kitchen is located on the first floor of the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center. The event is open to the Vanderbilt community.
