Vanderbilt announces closure of COVID-19 testing center during summer 2022
The Vanderbilt University COVID-19 testing center at the David Williams II Recreation and Wellness Center will close operations for the summer, beginning May 16. Additional COVID boosters available for certain individuals
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released new guidance on COVID-19 booster eligibility, making certain immunocompromised individuals and people over the age of 50 who received an initial booster dose at least four months ago eligible for another booster to increase their protection against severe disease. Prescription benefit now covers over-the-counter COVID-19 tests
On Jan. 10, the Biden Administration announced that under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), group health plans will be required to cover the cost of at-home, over-the-counter, FDA-approved COVID-19 tests.
