To replace and upgrade the utility systems in West Hall, which is on Vanderbilt’s Peabody College campus, a helicopter lift is scheduled for Monday, June 10.  Read More

The fencing surrounding the Garland Hall construction site will be temporarily expanded in order to conduct underground utility work for approximately two weeks. All current accessible sidewalks around Garland Hall will remain open. One ADA parking space located between the Divinity School and Garland Hall will be affected for the duration of this work.   Read More

On Saturday, Sept. 9, construction hours at the Highland Plant site at the corner of Children's Way and 25th Avenue South will be extended to midnight to complete a concrete pour. Disruptive noise will occur from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and workers will be on site until midnight. Read More

Garland Hall will be undergoing construction to improve the building's interior and enhance accessibility. To prepare for this project, an access road will be installed in three phases to minimize the impact to pedestrian traffic. The road is only for construction and emergency vehicles and will alter the pedestrian and bicycle routes in the area.   Read More

Lot 5 behind Wilson Hall will house a dumpster that is needed for a summer construction project from May 22 to June 12. The dumpster will be behind the lot’s accessible spots; these spots will remain open and usable.   Read More

Parking spaces in front of the Peabody Administration Building will be closed off 6 a.m.–2 p.m. for six  Mondays, beginning May 22, for a crane that will assist crews in roof work. The crane will be in the parking spots on the west side of the building. Please watch for work near the entrance.    Read More

The circle in front of the Wyatt Center will be closed, beginning May 17, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a crane to conduct work on the roof of the building. Crane work will take place May 17–18, June 5–6 and July 24.  Read More

Incoming traffic from 21st Avenue onto Medical Center Drive will be affected Saturday, May 20, 6 a.m.–5 p.m. by a crane installation. Medical Center Drive will be closed in both directions, and only emergency vehicles will be allowed access for the duration of the project. The turn lanes from 21st Avenue onto Medical Center Drive will be closed during this time.   Read More

Beginning Saturday, March 4, there will be work at The Village at Vanderbilt to replace the roof on the fourth floor. The work will be from 6:30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. The South Drive entrance to the upper packing deck will be closed, but vehicles can still pull into the parking area from 21st Avenue and Capers Avenue. Read More

Parking Lot 104 and the west sidewalk on 24th Avenue will be closed from Monday, March 6, to Monday, March 13, for construction related to Vanderbilt University’s Central Utilities Initiative project. This is the first of three phases of work that will occur in this area.   Read More

Construction equipment will impede access to the A wing entrance to Medical Center North on Saturday, Feb. 4, starting at 6:30 a.m. A boom lift for workers to reach third-floor windows will be parked on the sidewalk off of 21st Avenue toward the building. Read More
