Civility Appreciation and Respectful Environments
Apr. 6, 2017—Sandra Barnes, Vanderbilt University assistant vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion, and Arie Nettles, associate professor of clinical pediatrics and director of the Office of Inclusion and Health Equity at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, discussed the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace April 6.
Mar. 21, 2017—“Workplace Civility: Respect Our Differences” is the topic of an April 6 lunchtime discussion sponsored by CARE (Civility, Appreciation and Respectful Environments). All in the Vanderbilt community are invited to attend.
Nov. 5, 2015—“Workplace Civility: Think Before You Speak” is the topic of a Nov. 17 lunchtime discussion featuring Coach Tim Corbin and EAD Director Anita Jenious. The event is sponsored by the campus group Civility, Appreciation and Respectful Environments.
Mar. 27, 2015—Staff and faculty from across the university and medical center convened March 25 for a discussion about building trust in the workplace.
Feb. 23, 2015—Provost Susan Wente; Meg Rush, chief of staff at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt; and Capt. Scott Kraverath, professor of naval science with Vanderbilt's Naval ROTC, will discuss building trust in the workplace at a campus-wide event March 25.
