Peabody College graduate students Sara Davis and Burcak Kaynar spent the spring semester conducting an analysis of the language of safety in Vanderbilt Campus Dining operations. Vanderbilt University’s second Excellence in Podcasting competition was held during the spring 2022 semester. Awards were presented in April to the students whose podcast submissions exemplified the goals of the competition: using audio storytelling to communicate ideas, share perspectives, make arguments and persuade others. Five medical schools in the U.S., including Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, collaborated with the American Heart Association to implement a summer program designed to support diversity in biomedical science.
