Vanderbilt’s Human Resources Talent Acquisition team, in partnership with the Office of Continuous Improvement, has launched an updated external and internal job platform. These updates make finding and applying for jobs easier for candidates.
This update enhances Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Vanderbilt’s recruiting solution that enables the university to track and measure information about candidates across the hiring process. While the update provides a renovated and streamlined look, there are no changes to the functionality of the Vanderbilt job platform.
External Job Site – Work at Vanderbilt
The updated external job site will feature a refreshed look and easier access to job postings and applications. The mobile-friendly platform allows potential candidates to find and apply for jobs directly from their mobile devices. Candidates can also join Vanderbilt’s Talent Network to learn about new job opportunities and/or share open positions through social media.
Candidates currently can search by keywords or pre-grouped listings such as “Administrative Positions” or “Management Positions.” Upcoming features will allow candidates to mark favorite jobs, sort by location, choose full-time or part-time and narrow down by work environment (i.e., remote, hybrid or on-site positions).
Internal Job Site – Internal Jobs
Using Vanderbilt’s internal job site, staff members currently can find and apply for internal jobs by logging into their Oracle Cloud dashboard, selecting the “Me” tab, and then clicking on the tile labeled “Internal Jobs.” Alternatively, staff can choose to access Internal Jobs by visiting our Work at Vanderbilt external jobs website and clicking on the Internal Applicants button. The system will ask internal applicants to log into the Oracle Recruiting Cloud system with their Single Sign-On credentials. Internal candidates can apply, set up job alerts, make referrals or even contact the recruiter about their application status.
