As the Vanderbilt community’s financial, administrative and HR systems transition to Oracle Cloud, work in the university’s current systems must cease while the SkyVU project team migrates data to the new applications. In preparation for go-live on Jan. 1, SkyVU has published a timeline indicating dates when information no longer can be entered in the university’s current systems and when the new Oracle Cloud applications will open.
Many of these dates overlap with Winter Break (Dec. 22 through Jan. 2), which may require advance planning for users who maintain operations during the break. Review the timeline carefully, and plan finance and HR transactions to minimize disruption to normal business operations in December.
The SkyVU project team will continue to update the webpage with precise dates as go-live nears.
