Vandy Cooks: ‘Herb Recipes Worthy of Sharing’ Aug. 11

Join Karman Meyer, a registered dietitian and Stone Soup blogger, as she introduces healthy recipes using fresh herbs you can purchase or grow in your own containers or garden. These creations will inspire you to take a photo and share their beauty. Meyer is well-known for her success in blogging and will share tips with attendees on how to photograph beautiful creations for placing on social media.

Meyer is a nutritionist based in Nashville. Among other accomplishments, she is a regular contributor to Food and Nutrition magazine and director of communications for the Tennessee Beef Industry Council. Meyer is an experienced recipe developer, nutrition writer and public speaker and has worked in the food industry for more than 10 years.

Vandy Cooks is provided monthly through a partnership with the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center and Health Plus to support healthy eating through cooking presentations featuring the many aspects of food preparation.
