Vandy Cooks with chef Lucius Carroll

Health Plus and the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center present “Vandy Cooks: Clean Eating” with chef Lucius Carroll from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at the VRWC Demonstration Kitchen.

Join Chef Carroll as he creates “clean eating” recipes using seasonal, natural and unprocessed foods. Receive recipes and food samples.

Carroll is a native Nashvillian and Culinary Arts graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He previously worked for Marriott Hotels and Resorts in Boston and Atlanta, as a member of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel’s grand reopening team after the Nashville flood of 2010, and for Sodexo Senior Living, prior to joining Sodexo’s health care division and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
