Eye-gaze tracking system could dramatically improve kidney stone surgery training
Gaining and assessing surgical experience in endoscopic kidney stone surgery is particularly challenging given the limited field of view in the devices. Jie Ying Wu, assistant professor of computer science, is creating an eye-gaze sharing system to complement the current standard of care in which trainees get only verbal feedback.
