Nominations open for annual postdoctoral awards
Each spring the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs partners with the Vanderbilt Postdoctoral Association to recognize postdocs who demonstrate excellence in research, service, mentorship and commitment to the postdoc community, as well as their mentors who demonstrate willingness to share expertise and advice, service to the community at large and other mentoring activities. Breaking the mold: postdoctoral fellow’s research challenges ecological norms in yeast communities
Kyle David, an NSF postdoctoral fellow in the Rokas lab, and co-authors published a new paper, 'Saccharomycotina yeasts defy longstanding macroecological patterns' in the high-impact journal PNAS.
