Vanderbilt University has appointed Kevin Galloway as the next faculty director of the Ingram Scholars Program, effective July 1. Galloway, the Evans Family Executive Director of the Wond’ry and a research associate professor of mechanical engineering, will succeed Kelly Goldsmith, who has served as faculty director since January 2024. Goldsmith will step down from the role at the conclusion of the academic year to expand her new role as associate provost for strategic initiatives in undergraduate education.  Read More

Vanderbilt Residential Colleges has named Jeremi London faculty head of Memorial House on The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons. London, associate professor of mechanical engineering and an associate provost in the Office of Undergraduate Education, will assume the role July 1, 2026. She succeeds Celso Castilho, associate professor of history and director of the Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies, who has served as faculty head since 2021. Read More

Melissa Gresalfi will step down as Vanderbilt University’s dean of residential colleges and residential education and dean of The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Tiffiny Tung announced today. Gresalfi, who also is a professor of mathematics education, has been given an opportunity to enhance her research projects. Her last day as dean is June 30.   Read More

Professor Jessica Oster has been named as a faculty head of Stambaugh House, joining six other faculty members who will start in fall 2024. Oster is an associate professor of earth and environmental sciences and director of graduate studies.
