Proposals being accepted for International Education Week 2024; submissions open through Oct. 23
International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of Education and State celebrating international education, will be Nov. 18–22. Each year, campuses across the U.S. mark IEW through programming and events that highlight the importance of international education and exchange. The event type is flexible, but each event should be related to international education, international/cultural exchange, and/or living in a global environment. Antarctica is 10% of Earth’s landmass, yet there are no countries on it and no one owns it. At this World on Wednesday, presented by International Student & Scholar Services, Professor Dan Morgan, associate dean in the College of Arts & Science, will lead a discussion on how the Antarctic Treaty is a framework for scientific diplomacy and governing the commons.
