Graduate Education Study Group issues report; Graduate School relocates to Alumni Hall
Mar. 14, 2016—The Graduate Education Study Group, charged with laying the course for the future of graduate education at Vanderbilt, has completed its work and issued its full report. In addition, Vanderbilt’s Graduate School has relocated from Kirkland Hall to its new home in Alumni Hall.
Mark Wallace named dean of the Graduate School
Jan. 7, 2016—Mark Wallace, director of the Vanderbilt Brain Institute and a prolific and distinguished neurobiologist and mentor, has been named dean of the Vanderbilt University Graduate School, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Susan Wente announced today.
Grad students welcome at Oct. 14 forum discussing graduate education at VU
Oct. 8, 2015—The purpose of the event is to capture feedback on the proposals of the Graduate Education Study Group’s executive summary from current graduate students.

Sep. 30, 2015—The third in a series of forums discussing graduate education at Vanderbilt is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 5, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Student Life Center Board of Trust Room.
